David John Walkowiak

David John Walkowiak ( born June 18, 1953 in Cleveland, Ohio, USA) is Bishop of Grand Rapids.

Life

David Walkowiak received on 9 June 1979, the sacrament of Holy Orders.

On April 18, 2013, Pope Francis appointed as Bishop of Grand Rapids. The Archbishop of Detroit, Allen Vigneron, donated to him on 18 June of the same year the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were Bishop Emeritus of Grand Rapids, Walter Allison Hurley, and the Bishop of Cleveland, Richard Gerard Lennon.
