Dávid Katzirz

Dávid Katzirz ( born June 25, 1980 in Tatabánya / Hungary) is a Hungarian handball player. He is 1.90 m tall.

Katzirz, the still for the Hungarian top club SC Szeged ( shirt number 18) and plays for the Hungarian men's national handball team ( shirt number 11) runs, is most often used on the rear space links, its strengths lie mainly in defense.

Dávid Katzirz debuted in the first division in 1998 Pécs KK. In 2002 he went to the top club Dunaferr SE, where he was Hungarian Champion in 2004. In 2004 he moved to Tatabánya Carbonex KC, after only one year he went on - first time abroad - to Pallamano Secchia to Italy. In 2006 he moved then to William HV in the first Handball - Bundesliga. There he played a convincing season and took his team to 11th place. He then hired for a year at the newly promoted TUSEM of food, before he returned in 2008 to his homeland and signed for SC Szeged.

Dávid Katzirz has been disputed over 74 caps for the Hungarian men's national handball team. With Hungary he also took part in the Men's Handball World Championship for Men in Germany in 2007 but finished only 9th place.
