David Martin (Scottish politician)

David Martin ( born August 26, 1954 in Edinburgh) is since 1984 an MEP for the Labour Party in Scotland for the Socialist Group in the European Parliament.

Career

David Martin was from 1970 to 1974 assistant to a stockbroker. From 1974 to 1978 he was active as an animal welfare activist. From 1982 to 1984 he was a member of the Regional Council of Lothian (Scotland). 1984 Martin made ​​a bachelor's degree in economics in 1996 and a Masters in European Law.
