David Mirfin

David Matthew Mirfin ( born April 18, 1985 in Sheffield ) is an English football player who is under contract with the English third division side Scunthorpe United.

Career

Huddersfield Town

David Mirfin began his career in 2001 in the youth of Huddersfield Town. Two years later, he was pulled up by his impressive performances in the first team. In this, he completed his professional debut on 3 May 2003 in a 1-1 draw against Oldham Athletic, when he came on in the 84th minute for Nat Brown. However, this was his only game in the 2002/03 season. But in the season after he had won a regular place and completed almost every game.

On August 17, 2006, he extended his contract until 2009.

At the beginning of the season 2008/ 09 he left after the obligations of Andy Butler and Chris Lucketti the club and moved to Scunthorpe United. Mirfin signed a three -year contract with the Irons.

Scunthorpe United

On 11 August 2008 he was transferred for a transfer fee of £ 150,000 pounds to Scunthorpe United. Scunthorpe United
