David Nolan (libertarian)

David Fraser Nolan ( born November 23, 1943 in Washington, DC; † November 21, 2010 in Boulder, Colorado ) was an American politician. He founded in 1971 the Libertarian Party. His Nolan Chart applies in libertarian circles as a serious alternative to the political spectrum.

Life

Nolan spent his early youth in the U.S. state of Maryland. While at school he discovered the idea of ​​libertarianism by reading the science fiction author Robert A. He enrolled at MIT in order to gain a Masters degree in architecture, but ended in 1966 with a bachelor's degree in political science.
