David Nykl
David Nykl, ( born February 7, 1966 in Prague, Czechoslovakia) is a Canadian actor in film, television and theater.
Life
David Nykl was born in Prague. David arrived at the age of two with his parents to Canada after the Prague Spring had been forcibly terminated. The Nykls came to Victoria, where his father soon found work as a civil engineer and his mother a nurse. With a passion for the display and a penchant for witty timing David was soon involved in all kinds of benefits.
In his last year of high school, David has directed and played his first role in The Murder Room. Then he came to the University of British Columbia in Vancouver and majored in literature, theater and dramatic arts. After he had traveled about for a year, he worked for years at the Vancouver theater and launched a few small projects for Iron Works Productions. With a group of friends from Vancouver he founded on the Bard on the Beach Shakespeare Festival. Her first production of Waiting for Godot ( Estragon ), they celebrated a debut on Galiano Iceland. It was the first time that David was touring in Europe. The city of Prague was on the verge of her ascension to the new " Moveable Feast " - a Paris of the 90s. Within a year, David went back to Prague, where he began a casting for the KASPAR Theatre Prague as Attahualpa, the Inca sun god " Royal Hunt of the Sun". In the city of actors, writers and artists were few and far -reaching, and each took his place.
For David was nothing new and he found its place in theater and film. Gradually, it was announced in Prague that he had the best command of English. With Richard Toth and Ewan McLaren he founded " Misery Loves Company ". After four years, David has been involved in 17 productions as an actor, director, producer and art director. Later David went back to Vancouver, where he grew up, and worked full-time as an actor in television series, commercials and movies -.
