David Peckinpah

David Ernest Peckinpah ( born September 5, 1951 in Fresno, California, † April 23, 2006 in Vancouver ) was an American author, producer and director.

David E. Peckinpah, a nephew of director Sam Peckinpah was known primarily for his work for television films and series. He wrote, among other things, the script for " The Beauty and the Beast ," " Wolf ," ... and when the last tire bursts and " Farscape ". For the series " Palm Beach - Duo", "Sliders " and " Turks " he not only wrote the script, but he was also their producer.

On 23 April 2006, he died of a heart attack.
