David Sousa

Francisco David Sousa Franquelo, short Sousa ( born February 3, 1980 in Málaga ) is a Spanish footballer who plays for Getafe CF in the Spanish Primera División.

Playing career

The Andalusian Sousa comes from the successful youth work of the Spanish record champion Real Madrid. In 1999 he was promoted to the cadre of the B- team of the people of Madrid before he was loaned out after three years as a regular player in the midfield to the first division club Real Valladolid. There he wrote in 2003 a long-term contract. Although his new club in 2003/ 04 rose from in the Segunda División, but he remained two more years before he moved to the surprise team Getafe in the summer of 2006, Valladolid. With the Madrid suburb Club in 2007 he reached the final of the Copa del Rey, however, which was unlucky to lose against FC Sevilla.
