David T. Friendly

David T. Friendly ( born May 1, 1956) is an American film producer.

Life

After graduating from the Medill School of Journalism, a faculty of Northwestern University, was David T. Friendly journalist for Newsweek. In 1985, he moved to Los Angeles, where he had a weekly column on the economic aspects of the film industry wrote in the Los Angeles Times until terminated by Ron Howard and Brian Grazer, the founders of Imagine Entertainment, was hired as vice president of feature films and films like 1987 My Girl - My First Love and for Love or produced. As president of the production area, he moved in 1994 to Davis Entertainment, where he produced films like Daylight and Dr. Dolittle.

With Marc Turtletaub he founded in 2000 together their own production company Deep River Productions.
