David Unterberger

David Unterberger ( born September 23, 1988 in Bad Ischl ) is an Austrian ski jumper.

Career

Unterberger Create the first time on September 11, 2004 at a FIS race. After he was able to increase its services continuously, he was appointed to the B-team in 2006 and launched on 4 February 2006 in Villach for the first time in the Ski Jumping Continental Cup. At the Junior World Cup 2007 in the Italian Tarvisio he jumped on the large hill to 14th place. On September 15th 2007 he succeeded in the Continental Cup for the first time to jump into the top ten with a sixth place in Villach. At the Junior World Championships 2008 in Zakopane, he jumped in the individual jumping again as in 2007 to 14th place, but won the silver medal with the team. On December 14, 2008, he succeeded the jump in Vikersund first time on the podium in the Continental Cup. In the Winter Universiade in 2009 in Yabuli Unterberger jumped to 5th place on the normal hill and won the large hill gold medal. With the team he won silver. In August 2009, he jumped for the first time in the Summer Grand Prix and peaked at two competitions in Hakuba the points and finished at the end together with Tomáš Zmoray and Severin Freund 72nd place in the overall standings.

In January 2011, Unterberger began his four -year education as a police elite athletes at the federal police.
