David Wharton

David Wharton ( born May 19, 1969 in Warminster, Pennsylvania ) is a former swimmer from the United States.

His strengths were able butterfly and on the situation routes. So he stopped at times the world records over 200 m and 400 m medley. At the Olympic Games in Seoul in 1988 he won the silver medal in the 400 m medley.

In 1987 he was elected to the American Swimmer of the Year.
