Davidof Iceland ( aleutian: Qanan - tana ) is an uninhabited island and belongs to the Aleutian Islands, specifically the island group of Islands Council. The mostly steep and rocky shores of the island enclosing a plateau that rises to 328 meters above sea level. Only in the south west of the isle, there is a sandy beach.

Volcanism

Davidof is like the small neighboring islands Lopy Pyramid and the remnant of a Calder Arandes. The caldera was part of a volcano that was destroyed during the Tertiary as a result of an explosive eruption, for the most part.
