Dawn Burrell

Dawn Burrell ( born November 1, 1973 in Philadelphia ) is a former American long jumper.

Their greatest success was winning the gold medal at the IAAF World Indoor Championships in 2001 with 7.03 m. At the Summer Olympics in Sydney in 2000 she reached the 11th place. It was their only participation in the Olympic Games. The year before she had become sixth at the World Championships in Seville.

Your personal best jump Burrell at the 2011 World Indoor Championships, her best open-air performance of 6.98 m, it achieved in 2000. At a height of 1.75 m her competition weight was 58 kg. Dawn Burrell's brother Leroy Burrell was a successful sprinter who in 1991 set a world record in the 100 -meter run aufstellte and won the gold medal with the 4 x 100 - meter relay of the U.S. in the 1992 Olympics.
