De Rosa (Band)

De Rosa from 2000 to 2009, a five-piece Scottish indie band from Glasgow. Her style was influenced by the Pixies, Nirvana and Fugazi.

History

De Rosa was founded in the millennium of art student Martin John Henry ( guitar and vocals) in Glasgow. Originally, the fifth, is soon Henry just left that brings in 2003 reinforcement in the form of the Brothers James (bass) and Neil Woodside (drums). Your first record deal to sign the three at Glasgow Gargleblast label, where in July 2004 their first single "Camera / All Saints Day" is published. In the meantime, "Camera" will be published together with the track " Amy 's Song" again as a single. The new label the band this time Chemikal Underground. Gain obtained De Rosa shortly after the release of the debut album by Chris Connick, who previously participated already in the studio and during live performances and now as the lead guitarist is an integral part of the band. Following the release of their debut album De Rosa touring the UK and Germany, they work in parallel on songs for the sequel, which was released in March 2009 under the name of " prevention".
