DeAndre Hopkins ( born June 6 1992 Central, South Carolina) is an American professional American football player at the position of wide receiver. He plays for the Houston Texans in the National Football League ( NFL).

High School and College

Hopkins went to the small town of Central, South Carolina to the DW Daniel High School and remained his home state also connected at college. He played from 2010 to 2012 at Clemson University, near Greenville, college football for the Clemson Tigers.

NFL

He was selected in the first round in the 2013 NFL Draft as the 27th player on the Houston Texans, who sought a second good receiver on the side of Andre Johnson. His salary is 7.6 million U.S. dollars for four years.
