Debbie Rochon

Debbie Ann Rochon ( born November 3, 1968 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada ) is a Canadian actress.

Career

Debbie Rochon grew up in Vancouver. At twelve, she was taken out of her family and spent several years in various nursing homes. Part of her youth she lived on the streets to escape the youth welfare system in Canada. At the age of 12 or 13, she played a small role in the film Ladies and Gentlemen, the Fabulous Stains (1982). As a teenager she saved up money and moved to the end of school to New York City, where she studied drama and played several theater roles. Her first movie role was on the side of Marilyn Chambers. She started in numerous independent films to play along, especially in horror movies and is one of the most famous Scream Queens today in the B- film area. Rochon played since 1988 to date in over 200 films and turns in average eight films per year. In addition, she worked for several years as a radio presenter and led under her column Diary of the Deb interviews among others Dee Snider and Tony Timpone with the Fangoria Radio. Since 2010, it stands as " Blondie " in the horror web series " The Chainsaw Sally Show" in front of the camera. In 2012 she turned the psychological horror - drama film "The Nightmare Box", the film by Jon Keeyes is based on the frivolous and joyous celebrations of the 17th century. On April 30, 2012, she was awarded as part of the " Buffalo Screams Horror Film Festival " the title of Honorary Chair Person of the Buffalo Screams Horror Film Festival. 2013, it is with the serial killer horror film Model hunger her directorial debut. The serial killer movie she turns in Manhattan, as well as Buffalo, New York and with Lynn Lowry, and Tiffany Shepis in the lead roles.

Her most famous works include several Tromafilme, among other things, Tromeo & Juliet and Terror Firmer. The horror magazine Draculina she called Scream Queen of the Decade ( 1990-1999 ).
