Debby Boone

Debby Boone ( Deborah Ann Boone, born September 22, 1956 in Hackensack, New Jersey ) is an American singer and theater actress.

Life and career

Debby Boone, the daughter of singer Pat Boone was known by a recorded in May 1977 Cover version of the famous song You Light Up My Life to a wide audience. You got this in 1978 as "Best New Artist" Grammy. The single was released in August 1977 sold 5 million times and took ten weeks, the No. 1 in the U.S. charts.

In the 1980s, Boone changed their style country music and church music.

Debby Boone is with Gabriel Ferrer, the son of José Ferrer and Rosemary Clooney married. Their daughter is the actress Tessa Ferrer. My brother is the actor Miguel Ferrer.
