DÄ™binka, Lubusz Voivodeship

Dębinka ( German Tzschecheln, 1937-1945 Eichenrode ) is a place in the Polish and Lubusz Voivodeship belongs to the rural community Trzebiel ( Triebel ) in Żarski powiat (district Zary ( Sorau ) ).

Geographical location

Dębinka located eight kilometers northeast of Trzebiel on a side road that leads from Cielmów ( Zilmsdorf ) in the province road 294 after Pietrzyków ( Pitschkau ). In addition, urban end side roads of Czerna ( Grünaue ) or Grabów ( Grabow ). The village is under the name " Tuplice Dębinka " station on the railway line Cottbus- Zary.

History

The small, formerly called Tzschecheln estate village with its local Buschmühlenteich, Upper Mill and Lower Mill was built in 1874 Office village and thus its name to a newly established office district. He belonged until 1945 to the circle Sorau in the district of Frankfurt in the Prussian province of Brandenburg.

With an area of 4353 km ² counted Tzschecheln 1895 a total of 387 inhabitants. Their number was in 1910 still 368 and rose to 519 in 1925 ( in 136 households ). The community area grew until 1931 to 9026 km ², while the population in 1933 dropped to 491 and in 1939 was 477.

Tzschecheln had its own registry office, while the district court in Triebel (Polish today: Trzebiel ) was, the district court in Guben and the Higher Regional Court in Berlin.

On October 18, 1937 Tzschecheln was renamed as part of the ideologically motivated displacement Sorbian place name in the Lausitz in Eichenrode ( Lower). In consequence of war, the place came to Poland in 1945 and was awarded the Polish name " Dębinka ". He is now a mayor's office (Polish: sołectwo ) in the composite of Gmina Trzebiel in powiat Żarski from 1975 to 1998 in Zielona Góra Voivodeship (Green Mountain ), since in the Lubusz Voivodeship.

Church

Before 1945, the population was Tzschechelns respectively. Eichenrodes majority Protestant denomination. The village was the parish seat and belonged to the church district Sorau in the ecclesiastical province of the Church of the Old Prussian Union Brandenburg. The Catholic church members were incorporated into the diocese of Breslau.

Today, the inhabitants of Dębinka almost exclusively Catholic denomination. The former evangelical church in the village is now the parish church, the ( pw Kościół Podwyższenia Swiętego = " Exaltation of the Cross Church " ) in the name of "Holy Cross Church " has been consecrated. It is a branch church of the parish Tuplice ( Teuplitz ), the ( Lugnitz ) belongs to the deanery Łęknica in the diocese of Zielona Góra - Gorzów ( Grunberg -Landsberg ) the Roman Catholic Church in Poland. Here surviving Protestant church members are in the parish, the parish in Zary ( Sorau ). It is part of the Diocese of Breslau Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland.
