Deborah Ellis

Deborah Ellis ( born August 7, 1960 in Cochrane, Ontario ) is a Canadian author.

Career

She began to write children's books with eleven or twelve years. In 1999, she spent many months in Afghan refugee camps in Pakistan. There, she interviewed refugees and used the information for her book The sun on your face, which appeared in 2001.
