Decius (consul 529)
Flavius Decius was a Roman patrician and consul in 529
Decius came from the aristocratic family of the Decii. His father was Basilius Venantius, consul in the year 508; his brother Decius Paulinus. Decius escaped with some other senators after the capture of Rome by the Ostrogoth king Totila on 17 December 546 by Constantine Opel.
