Dedé (footballer born 1988)

Dede (born Anderson Vital da Silva, born July 1, 1988 in Volta Redonda ) is a Brazilian footballer who currently runs for Cruzeiro, and the national team of Brazil. He holds the preferred center-back position.

Career

Dede's career began in his hometown of Volta Redonda, where he went through the youth teams of Volta Redonda FC from 2005. In 2009 he was able to convince those responsible for the significantly larger association of Vasco da Gama of his abilities, and signed a contract. Although his first professional season at the new club was mediocre and Dede came to just five appearances, but after the rise of the team from the second to the first division in Brazil, he became a regular player and came 36 times used. On April 18, he moved within the league to Cruzeiro. The transfer fee is said to have stood at the equivalent of about five million euros. In his first season for Cruzeiro, he celebrated his first championship.

Dedes services remained internationally not go unnoticed. On 15 September 2011 he came to his debut with the national team that played that day 0-0 against Argentina. On October 15, 2013 in a friendly match against Zambia he scored his first goal for the team.
