Dédougou

Dédougou is a city and a comprehensive department of the same territory in the West African state of Burkina Faso and is capital of the Boucle du Mouhoun region and the province Mouhoun. In divided into seven sectors the main town and the surrounding villages 37 86 324 inhabitants.

In the area especially peanuts and cotton are grown. The airfield Dédougous the international identifier DGU. In addition, the Festival des masques et des arts ( FESTIMA ) will be held here regularly.

Dédougou is the seat of the diocese Dédougou.
