Dee D. Jackson

Dee D. Jackson (actually Deirdre Elaine Cozier; born July 15, 1954 in Oxford) is a British disco singer. In the 1970s she managed entitled Automatic Lover an international hit.

Life

Jackson's career began in Munich, where she worked as a film producer and together worked with Giorgio Moroder and Keith Forsey. In 1978 she moved to the music under the title Man of a Man released their debut single, but hardly found buyers. With the follow-up single Automatic Lover but they then landed a worldwide hit. The song came, among others, to place in front of # 4 on the UK charts, reaching # 1 in Brazil and in Germany and Switzerland, respectively, the top ten of the singles charts.

This success was followed by her first album Cosmic Curves and another extraction therefrom, Meteor Man, with which she was able to confirm their success in their infancy. Jackson's second album, the musical leaning towards the style of their debut, has been less attention from the public.

In the early 1980s she moved to Los Angeles in 1981 and brought a compilation of their greatest hits on the market, but left after a few months, the United States again and settled in Italy. There she gave birth to a son in the late 1980s. 1995 was titled Blame It on the Rain her latest album.

Jackson married lives in Turin, where she runs her own record company.

Dee D. Jackson is not to be confused with Dolores " Dee Dee " Jackson ( † 1994), the former wife of Tito Jackson.
