Dee Murray

Dee Murray ( born April 3, 1946 in Southgate, London, † January 15, 1992 in Nashville, Tennessee ) was an English bass player, who played in the band of Elton John.

Life

He sang on numerous albums of pop stars backing vocals, among other things, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road.

Mid-1980s, was found at his skin cancer. Murray withdrew from the Elton John band; the last album on which he collaborated, Reg Strikes Back was.

On January 15, 1992, he died of a stroke.
