Dee Wallace

Dee Wallace-Stone ( born December 14, 1949 in Kansas City, Kansas as Deanna Bowers ) is an American actress.

Biography

Wallace, actually Deanna Bowers, was born in Kansas City, the daughter of Maxine and Robert Stanley Bowers. There she graduated from high school before she attended the University of Kansas.

Her acting career began with several television series. In the Steven Spielberg movie E.T. - The Extra-Terrestrial, she played the role of Elliott's mother. For this role she was nominated for the 1983 Saturn Award. In addition, she starred in many horror films main or supporting roles. She was among other things in the animal to see Critters and the Halloween remake from 2007. Overall, Wallace embodied far more than 190 roles in film and television (as of 2012).

Since 1980 she was married to his second marriage to actor Christopher Stone, but which 1995 died of a heart attack. Together they have a daughter. In 1998, she married again.
