Deelen

Deelen is a Dutch village in the eastern part of the municipality of Ede in Gelderland with about 50 inhabitants.

Location

Deelen located about 60 meters above sea level in the southern Veluwe, surrounded by forest, heath, dunes and small lakes.

In the southwest of the village of the former military airfield located Deelen ( ICAO code Retail sale ), in the southeast around 5 km away from the airfield Terlet ( ICAO code EHTL ).

Attractions

The museum Vliegbasis Deelen on Hoenderloseweg ( N804 ) in Deelen shows solid exhibitions on the subject of air warfare from 1940 to 1945. Furthermore, it offers changing exhibitions, and lectures on the subject of air warfare as well as tours to the aerodrome Deelen and the tea roses positions ( Radiopeilstationen from the Second World War) in Terlet and de Posbank.
