Deewaar (Hindi, f, दीवार, Divar, wall, brick wall ) is a Bollywood film about the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971 and the escape from a prison camp. This film is not to be confused with Yash Chopra's Deewaar movie of 1975 and is also not a remake.
Action
After the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, a group of soldiers to Major Ranvir Kaul ( Amitabh Bachchan ) has fallen into Pakistan in captivity. They are treated unworthy of the opposing guards. In their home or knows nobody wants to know their fate. Only the wives to Kaul's wife, who still hope for the return of their husbands, do not give up. As one of the prisoners managed to escape, it creates this, submit a letter to India. Gaurang, Major Kaul's son ( Akshaye Khanna ), makes then to Pakistan to bring his father home.
When he rescues the refugees from the prison camp Khan (Sanjay Dutt), opens up a possibility. If they are used, and all the men will reach India or die before?
