Deguingand

The Société des Nouveaux Ateliers A. Deguingand was a French manufacturer of automobiles.

Company History

The company based in Puteaux was the successor company to Vinot & Deguingand. Began in 1927 under the direction of Albert Deguingand the production of automobiles. The brand name was Deguingand. 1930 production ended.

Rolling stock

The first model was a small car. For the drive was provided by a four-cylinder engine of SCAP 1170 cm ³ displacement. In the version with side valves of the engine 22 hp and with OHV valve control 28 HP. On offer were touring cars and sedans. This model could not compete with the models of large-scale manufacturers such as Citroen.

Beginning in 1928, the smaller model 5 CV, designed by Marcel Violet was born. A four-cylinder two-stroke engine with 735 cc displacement caused the drive.
