Dehnberger Hof Theater

The Dehnberger Court Theatre (DHT ) is a set up in an old farm theater stage in the district Dehnberg the town of Lauf an der Pegnitz in Nuremberg.

The founding of the theater dates back to the year 1973, when the farm by Wolfgang Riedel belly, Kapellmeister at the Nuremberg Opera House, and his wife was purchased. As the core of the theater then the former hops barn of the farm was converted into a 200 -seat theater. These were followed by more, the operating theater additional conversion work.

In addition to theater performances in Frankish dialect cabaret, readings and concerts from classical to folk and jazz will be held in the theater. Very popular in the summer are the jazz brunch and open-air theater performances in the open air in the picturesque courtyard of the theater. In addition, the Dehnberger Court Theatre offers numerous events and workshops for children and young people, and theater courses for ambitious amateur actor. On 22 September 2006 the theater celebrated its 30th anniversary and named Ekkehard Wagner honorary member who cared for 16 years for the continued existence of the theater.
