Your tenderness is the title of a song published in 1978, the Soviet artist Sofia Rotaru in the Federal Republic of Germany as a single.

Background

The song "Your Tenderness " was the mid-1970s by Harald Steinhauer for the band ORS composed, the original English text of Your Tenderness wrote Stevie B.; 1978 knew Michael Kunze for Sofia Rotaru with a German text.

For the B-side, " At night, when the fog draw ", the songwriter and producer Monn and Kunze of Vangelis ' romantic piece La Petite Fille de la Mer were inspired, the written, the Greek for Frédéric Rossifs film L' Apocalypse des Animaux had.

In the Soviet homeland Rotarus existed until the mid-1980s, the beginning of perestroika, no official information that Rotaru had published a German -language single in the West. After release of the song were followed for Rotaru successful concert tours in several European countries: East Germany, Yugoslavia, Romania, and west of the Iron Curtain in the FRG and West Berlin ( 20 concerts in the fall of 1979 in Munich and other cities). The Ariola wanted to publish further material of Sofia Rotaru on the Western European market, but the Soviet authorities forbade her concert for five years to leave.
