Deiva Marina

Deiva Marina ( in the Ligurian: Deiva ) is a municipality with 1409 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the Italian region of Liguria. Politically it belongs to the province of La Spezia.

Geography

Deiva Marina is located in a small valley that is crossed by the stream Castagnola. At the mouth of this stream lying the community is regarded as a popular seaside resort on the Riviera di Levante.

The municipality belongs to the Comunità Montana della Riviera Spezzina. In the heights of the territory, the Passo del Bracco is located at 610 meters above sea level.
