Dejan Milovanović

Dejan Milovanovic (Serbian Cyrillic: Дејан Миловановић; born January 21, 1984 in Belgrade, SFR Yugoslavia) is a Serbian football player, he plays in central midfield

At the 2004 Olympics in Sydney, he was part of the team of Serbia and Montenegro. It was used in the match against the Argentine team that won the Argentines 6-0. In 2007 he reached with the Serbian U21 national finals of the European Junior Championship, the Netherlands won in the final 4-1.

Milovanovic played for six years for Red Star Belgrade and won in 2004 and 2006, the league and cup double for Serbia and Montenegro. After the independence of Montenegro in the summer of 2006, a purely Serbian Championship took place in the 2006/07 season held for the first time this season Red Star won the double and was first Serbian champions and first Serbian Cup winners.

In summer 2008, Milovanovic joined the French club RC Lens. With Lens, he was promoted to Ligue 1 at the end of his first season. After two years he returned in the summer of 2010 to Red Star Belgrade back.
