Delative case

The Delativ is a local cases, which indicates the movement of the surface of a reference object away.

The term Delativ for this local cases is mainly used in the grammar of the Hungarian where the Delativ is marked by the suffix -ról/ről: hajó - ROL from the ship ' ( hajó ' ship ' ), bokor - ROL from the bush ' ( bokor ' bush '), veg - rol ' the end ' (VEG ' end '). The Delativ is semantically related to the Sublativ ( " forward movement on the surface of the Underlying " ) and the Superessiv ( " position on the surface of the Underlying ").

Etymology: Latin delatus " carried down " (ie " case of Down wearing ").
