Delfina Merino

Delfina Merino (* October 15, 1989 in Vicente López, Buenos Aires Province) is an Argentine hockey player. Also since the age of five, she plays for the club Banco Provincia from Vicente López, since 2009 for the national team of their country. The right-handed playing in the storm and wears the number 12 In addition to her athletic career she studied law at the Universidad de Buenos Aires.

With the Argentina national team, she won the silver medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics and the gold medal at the 2010 World Cup. Upon winning the Copa Panamericana in September 2013 she scored the decisive goal in a 1-0 final victory against the United States.
