Dolphin (Eng. "Dolphins " ) was a Portuguese pop band.

History

The band goes back to the first sample in 1981. The singer Miguel Ângelo, brother of founding bassist João Carlos, came in 1982 in the group that completed in 1983 with the drummer Pedro Malkow. In the year they gave their first concert, at the wedding of her sister, guitarist Fernando Cunha, on the beach of Praia do Guincho Cascais near her hometown. 1984 they recorded their first single for the independent label Fundação Atlântica ( Pedro Ayres Magalhães of others). In a recording pauses in the studio is her name by her manager António Cunha, the brother of guitarist set to dolphin. The record was released as a single and as a maxi-single.

The musicians of the dolphin were occasionally involved in other projects, including the successful All- Star project Resistência.
