The Delio (Italian: Lago Delio ) is a lake in the Province of Varese in Italy.

Geography

It is a natural glacial lake, but by human hands - has been changed - by the construction of two dams. The lake is located between the Maccagno and the border Italy / Switzerland. It is accessible from Maccagno from road number 5

History

The first dam was built in 1911. In the 1960s, then the two dams were built to keep the water at a level. Now, the lake serves as a source of hydroelectric power plant in Roncovalgrande.
