Delny, Scotland

Delny (Gaelic: Deilgnidh ) is a village in the Scottish Highland Unitary Authority. It is located about five kilometers north- west of Invergordon on the shore of the Cromarty Firth in the traditional Scottish county of Ross -shire. The A9, which connects with Stirling Thurso, a short distance runs south of Delny and binds the village on to the road network. Between 1817 and 1913 the distillery was operated in Pollo Delny.
