Dembowski (crater)

Dembowski is an impact crater on the lunar front side east of the sinus Medii, southeast of the crater Triesnecker and northeast of Godin. The rim is eroded, the northeastern part and the interior is covered by a lava flow.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the Italian astronomer Ercole Dembowski.
