Demitasse

The demitasse or Demitasse ( from French, " half cup " ) is a cup that is generally used for serving of mocha, espresso or Turkish coffee.

It has a capacity depending on the model of 60 to 90 ml, whereas an ordinary cup about 120 ml sums. Made of porcelain or ceramic, they are often found in tea sets and similar sets. Gladly a characteristic pattern or logo is printed on the demitasse, so they are also used as collectors' items also by the manufacturer or seller. There are also models of glass with metal framing.
