Dempster–Skokie (CTA station)

The Dempster Street Station, (also known as the Skokie Swift Station and North Shore Train Station) is a historic railway station station in Skokie in Cook County in the U.S. state of Illinois. The building was built in 1925 and located in the Dempster Street.

The historic station has been renovated over the years and used several times. She is now completely out of service, only a Starbucks coffee shop is located here. A new and modern Railway Station is located on the opposite side of the road and is operated by the CTA Yellow Line.

The station was taken on February 28, 1996 by the National Register of Historic Places with the number 95,001,005 in the registers.
