Denali Borough is a Borough (administrative district ) in the state of Alaska in the United States. Borough Seat ( administrative seat ) is Healy.
Geography
The Denali Borough is located 400 kilometers north of Anchorage and 180 miles south of Fairbanks. The Borough has a total area of 33 086 square kilometers, of which 33,032 square miles of land and 64 square miles (0.19 percent) to water areas. In the Borough of Mount McKinley is ( athapaskisch: Denali ) is the highest mountain in North America with 6,194 meters and is situated in the area of Denali National Park.

At the time of the 2000 census, the borough had 1,893 inhabitants on a land area of 33,032 square kilometers. The median age was 37.6 years ( national U.S. average: 35.3 years ). The per capita income ( the national average of the United States: 21.587 U.S. dollars) at 26.251 U.S. dollars. 7.9 percent of the residents were with their income below the poverty line ( national U.S. average: 12.4 percent). At the time of the census in 2010, the Borough had 1826 inhabitants.
