Dengizich

Dengizich, also Dengesich or Denghizik, was one of the numerous sons of Attila, king of the Huns.

Dengizich was beaten by his father's death 454 of the Gepidenkönig Ardaric in the Battle of Nedao in Pannonia, where his eldest brother, Ellac, met his death. Thereupon Dengizich withdrew with his surviving brothers to the Black Sea, from where he often went to war against the Goths and Romans. Together with Ernak he tried to contractual arrangements with Ostrom, but failed. Dengizich was slain in Thrace 469 by the Roman general Anagastus and put his head in Constantinople Opel showcased.
