Denis Simonet

Denis Simonet (born 21 May 1985 in Biel) was from 2009 to 2012 the first President of the Pirate Party Switzerland (PPS ) and since then press spokesman. In April 2012 he was elected to the board of the Pirate Parties International.

Functions with the pirates

Simonet was at the inaugural meeting of the Pirate Party Switzerland in Zurich elected the first president and confirmed on 5 December 2009 in Bern, and February 19, 2011 in Winterthur for a further period. Biography

Simonet lives in Ipsach, studied computer science at ETH Zurich and leads his studies at the Berner Fachhochschule continued.
