The Danish national ice hockey team is the national women's hockey national team of Denmark in the women's ice hockey. In February 2011, the team was on the 22nd in the IIHF World Ranking.

History

The Danish national ice hockey team of the women participated in the Women's European Championships between 1989 and 1996. Their greatest success was winning the bronze medal at the European Championships in 1991. Between 1995 and 1996 the team but only competed in the B- EM, in which it places two and one occupied.

At the World Cup 1992, the Danish women's team gave her World Cup debut, but then continued twice, and took to the World Cup 1999 game mode in the B World Cup on. Since then, the Danes have always played in either the Division I or II, where they achieved in the 2009 World Cup with five place Division II their worst World Cup result. In the 2011 World Cup, the team enters again in Division II.
