Dennis Alexio
Dennis Alexio ( born March 12, 1959 in Vacaville, California, born as Dennis Raymond Dick) is an American actor and former professional boxer and kickboxer.
Biography
Dennis Alexio, nicknamed " The Terminator", is regarded as one of, if not as the greatest heavyweight kickboxer champion of the recent sports history. Alexio was also a professional boxer and won seven of eight fights, including 5 by Ko
He developed a very close friendship with the actor Jean -Claude Van Damme; the two were collectively known as the Eric and Kurt Sloane brothers in the movie Karate Tiger 3 - to The Kickboxer (1989).
Although Alexio had already occurred in several films, he has focused mainly on his professional kickboxer career and won numerous titles at the World Championships IKF, KICK, WKA, ISKA and FFKA. At times, he was the undisputed kickboxing world champion of all these associations.
Alexio won on 31 May 1987 in Hawaii the IKF World Championship title when he technical after the 5th round of the Englishman Barrington Patterson KOs defeated. His title for the first time he could successfully defend in May of the following year in Sacramento, as he gave the French Achille Roger also by technical knockout defeated in the 5th round.
More recently, Dennis Alexio has withdrawn from combat sports. So his world championship title by the IKF was withdrawn on 24 November 2003 after Alexio had not reported back on the request of the organization in June of the same year about his future sports career.
