Dennis Boutsikaris
Dennis M. Boutsikaris ( born December 21, 1952 in Newark, New Jersey ) is an American actor.
Life
Dennis M. Boutsikaris was born the son of a U.S. American of Greek descent and a Jewish mother. He grew up in Berkeley Heights. After graduating from the private art school Hampshire College in 1970, he toured with John Housemansv theater group The Acting Company through the country. His off-Broadway debut was in 1978 with William Shakespeare's well that ends well, followed by his Broadway debut in Martin Sherman's Bent 1979.
After his feature film debut in 1980 in the action film The Exterminator I Boutsikaris played henceforth in such films as The Miracle on 8th Street, coffee, milk and sugar and W. - A misunderstood life with. He was partially repeatedly occupied as a doctor. That type casting he remained faithful even when his series appearances. He played as a guest star, among others, in television series such as Murder She Wrote, Monk and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit respective doctors.
Boutsikaris from 1982 to 2002 with the actress Deborah Hedwall, with whom he has two children together, married.
