Dennis Kirkland

Dennis Kirkland ( born December 2, 1942 in North Shields, Tyne and Wear, † 16 February 2006 in London ) was a British television producer and director.

Kirkland worked as a film producer since the late 1960s. He first produced feature films ( White Vests for crooks Scacco tutto matto, Italy, Spain, 1969), but then switched quickly to television. Here he produced several television series and Fernsehschows. Particularly well known he was in both functions for The Benny Hill Show. From 1979 to the end of the series 1989, he was the preferred producer Benny Hills.

1980 and 1981 he was nominated for the Benny Hill Show for an Emmy Award, but both times went away empty-handed.
