Departments of Ivory Coast

The Ivory Coast is divided into 19 regions, which are in turn divided into the following departments.

• ¹ According to Act of October 1985, the following 15 departments were created in addition: Bangolo, Béoumi, Daoukro, Duékooué, Grand Lahou, Mbahiakro, Sakasso, San Pédro, Sinfra, Tabou, Tanda, Tiassalé, Toumodi, Vavoua and Yamoussoukro.
• ² Under the Law of October 1989 another department was created: Agnibilékron.
• ³ results after the first interim report of the Census 1975.
