Deqing County, Guangdong

Deqing (德庆 县, Pinyin: Deqing Xian) is the district of the city of Zhaoqing in Guangdong Province, China. It lies on the Sui River (绥江) in the northwest of the province.

Geography

The surface shape of the circle Deqing is generally mountainous. The Sui River forms the southern boundary of the circle. In addition, the Mawei river flow through (马 圩 河), the Yuecheng River (悦城 河) and some other small rivers flow into the circle and the Sui River. Most important traffic artery is the National Road 321 which runs along the southern border of the circle, parallel to the Sui River runs. Otherwise, the connection is made to the neighboring districts only partly bad roads. There are no rail connections. Limited significance of the ports on the Sui River.

Culture

Located in Deqing Old Academy of Deqing (德庆 学 宫), as well as the temple of the mother dragon in the large village Yuecheng are on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China.
