Der Internist

The internist is a medical journal published by Springer Verlag and is published by Springer Medizin. The magazine is aimed at established and operating in the clinic as well as internists to internal medicine particularly interested practitioners and general practitioners. The magazine reaches about 40,000 Reading, making it the largest German -language specialist magazine. The journal is published in cooperation with the German Society for Internal Medicine and the Professional Association of German Internists and appears twelve times per year.

The core of each issue are articles on a specific topic. Case reports show case studies and unusual diseases or courses of treatment.
